I was looking through a President Encyclopedia Book (it cought my eye to see Barack ALREADY on it) and the past few presidents have been REPUBLICANS! But its not just the Party or the fact Bush is gone that makes me love Barack Obama, its the loyalty, hope, and good natured heart he has to remake this nation. Starting with the Guantanamo Bay jail. Terrorists are very bad people, but he doesn't like them being tortured. I know he'll find a place to put them... I just know. I believe in him. And everybody should.
First of all torture is INHUMANE! Second of all you can't do anything about it because Barack Obama is president now and he is going to make some great changes for America and Guantanamo Bay is going to be one of them.
Well you can't do anything about it because Barack Obama is going to change that, and how come people just don't get that you're not killing babies! Jeez, you're just getting rid of a fetus. Also, people need abortions.
WOOT! But I don't love Barack just because Bush is gone or just because he is African American (those these are some of my reasons xD), I love him because he gave this nation Hope and a change and knows the best in people.
I don't know that he will, but I would like to believe so.
I understand "hope" and "change" are not strategies, heck, all he says is "Hope, hope, and change!" and people cheer!
However, I like to believe that as president, he will help fix the economy- which needs to be changed a bit. Also, many Americans are in a tough spot right now-- they need hope.
I agree with you that "hope" isn't a plan, but "change" is a broad strategy. Certainly, it isn't specific, but for the people who look to him, it's a start. That was just a campaign slogan-- now that he's in office, we can see whether he was all talk, or whether-- as I believe-- he really will "change" this nation for the better.
Of course, this is all a matter of my opinion, you might see things differently than I do.
